Edna Stradioto
Biography
Edna Carla Stradioto is a Brazilian visual artist, residing in São José do Rio Preto – SP. In the visual arts, she works with the watercolor technique, which she applies with ink, pastel and other techniques.
She has a master's degree in Literature from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (São José do Rio Preto – SP) and a PhD in Comparative Modernities from the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal), both in the area of illustration.
She has seventeen group exhibitions abroad, in several important cities around the world. In Brazil, she participated in twenty-five collectives and another fourteen individual events. The solo exhibitions at the Museu Casa Guilherme de Almeida (São Paulo – SP) from May 2019 to the present, with fourteen watercolors and curated by Marcelo Tápias), and the exhibition with almost 400 pieces at the Estação Cultural de Olímpia (Olímpia – SP), stand out in their career.
She is also the founder and administrator of Grupo Artrilha, artists creating trails, by independent visual artists, partner and editor-in-chief of Artrilha Editora, responsible for creating the projects Revista Artrilha, Leilão Artrilha, Exhibition Catavento, Exhibition DE 22 A 22, Galeria Artrilha, between others. She is at the head of the group and works directly in the selection, curation, organization, planning, execution and cultural production.
