Evens C. Mériné
Born in Haiti and raised in the USA, Evens has always had art and architecture in his DNA. His uncle and grandfather where artist who practice art in the primitive style of Haitian art.
With a foundation in architectural principles and a passion for modern aesthetics, Evens creates paintings that reflect a harmonious blend of structure, abstraction, and emotion.
Drawing inspiration from urban landscapes, natural forms, and the interplay of light and shadow, their art transforms architectural concepts into bold compositions of color, texture, and movement. Each piece is a dialogue between precision and spontaneity, echoing Evens’s architectural training while exploring the fluid boundaries of modern art.
Based in Fort Lauderdale, Evens has exhibited their work in galleries and art spaces locally. His creative journey is driven by a belief that architecture and art share a common goal: to inspire, provoke, and connect people to the spaces they inhabit.
When not painting, Evens leads design projects in south Florida and the Caribbean that challenge conventional norms, bringing the same innovative spirit from their canvas to the built environment.
