Anna Guerra
Anna Guerra was born in Recife in 1970. Raised in a family of visual artists and poets, she has been painting since the age of ten. She graduated in architecture from the Federal University of Pernambuco but has been professionally dedicated to painting since 1995.
Her works are part of various private collections, the Passenger Terminal of Guararapes International Airport in Recife, and the Museum of Art of the São Paulo State Parliament.
Among the various solo and group exhibitions she has participated in, notable ones include: "Arte em Toda Parte," Olinda, PE (2003, 2004, and 2005); "Arte & Companhia," Recife, PE; "Nordestinados," Paço da Alfândega, Recife, PE; "Recife: Os Mistérios da Rua Nova," Recife, PE; "Consulte," São Paulo, SP (2005); "Light Design," Recife, PE; Galeria Spazio Surreale, São Paulo, SP; and Espaço Cultural Candido Portinari, São Paulo State Legislative Assembly, SP (2006).
